Strange Retro Wallpaper From Bittbox - Free Textures Download

From Bittbox, Free Texture Tuesday: Retro Wallpaper Difference Clouds: For this week, I’ve got some retro wallpaper textures with a twist. I took pictures of some vintage wallpaper designs, inverted them and rendered difference clouds, then applied a small amount of lighting. These would probably work nicely as a low opacity overlay to add a little more texture to a background that already exists but needs a little more spice. Hope you put them to good use. It is the first commercial software that offers auto-blur estimation and uses advanced deconvolution technology to help reverse the effects of image blur. This new sharpening approach completely changes the way detail refinement is done, by recovering true details, restoring image clarity and offering natural sharp-looking enhancements. The range of achievable sharpening possibilities have been dramatically improved and simplified with this new tool, allowing users to easily go beyond the lens to increase the sharpness and definition of any image.
Topaz InFocus actually recovers blurred detail and finds edges, as opposed to other common sharpening methods which simply boost edge contrast to create a perceived sharpness,†said Ashley Robinson, product manager of Topaz Labs. “By mathematically reversing image blur caused by lens imperfections, atmospheric haze, camera sensor abilities, focus issues and camera shake, we are able to help photographers achieve detailed and naturally sharp images.

Start up Photoshop and bring out the base stock image you wish to work upon. Decide upon a stock image that features a model in a pose that complements your concept. Our concept is fire versus ice. Start by planning how you wish to format the ice and fire around her body. I've used a soft brush of orange and blue to characterize ice and fire respectively. Now that I have a clear idea of my direction, let's get started.

Here is a tutorial made entirely in Photoshop and Illustrator CS4. I wanted to try to make something fresh and very colorful. To do this, I used images of origami. Some of the material was done in Illustrator and Photoshop but the majority comes from Istockphoto.

Upload A Photo To Trigger A Donation Of 480 Gallons Of Clean Water

For every photo uploaded to the EcoImagination Site, a donation will be made to communities in need of clean water, solar light, and wind turbine powered electricity. Each uploaded photo will generate either: 480 gallons of safe clean drinking water, 170 hours of solar light, or 4.5 kw hours of wind powered electricity. You can upload up to 3 photos every day to make an even bigger impact. The aim is to generate 30,000 photo uploads before the end of the year. When you arrive at the photo upload site, you will be able to upload 1 of 3 types of photos relating to either Wind, Water, or Light. They will turn those photos into real donations.
