Adobe's New Superstar - Dreamweaver 8
Dreamweaver is a dominating presence in the world of HTML editing programs, controlling around 80% of the market share. As a consequence, anyone with serious aspirations toward graphic design will have to learn Dreamweaver – especially now that Adobe has purchased Macromedia, and signaling in various interviews that Dreamweaver and Flash are now all-important to them. There are even preliminary indications that GoLive may be placed on Adobe's backburner.
Time To Learn Dreamweaver
Photoshopsupport.com was built using GoLive, a decision that we made based on our familiarity of using Adobe software. At this stage, however, if we were launching the site today, we would do so using Dreamweaver.

If you want to be able to edit an image in gif or jpeg format after you've inserted it into your Dreamweaver pages and have Dreamweaver launch Photoshop instead of the default Fireworks, this tutorial will show you how to change the settings to make Photoshop the primary default image editor. The tutorial also shows you how to set Photoshop as the primary editor of other file formats as well, including SWF Flash files and MOV Quicktime files.

There often seems to be a strict division of labor within the world of web design and development. Creative professionals tend to stick to the Photoshop domain, while those well-versed in scripting are left to the task of implementing their work. Indeed, the two realms are quite different from each other, to which any of us even vaguely familiar with either can easily attest.
Essentially, Photoshop is a no-holds-barred design studio, offering the artist a seemingly endless array of creative options. On the other hand, HTML, CSS, Java and the like follow strict rules of engagement, requiring the developer to take any number of esoteric concerns into consideration in order to ensure that designs are properly displayed on the web.
Turn Photoshop Into A Complete Web Design Tool
SiteGrinder 2 seeks to bridge this gap between design and development. Basically, this program turns Photoshop into an easy-to-use and fully functional web design tool.
